Physiotherapy
Physiotherapy is a treatment using extensive assessment and the science of movement to diagnose the root cause of pain. This results in the patient’s mobility, function, and well-being being restored through physical rehabilitation, injury prevention, and health and fitness.
Physiotherapists focus on both prevention and rehabilitation. Treatment can be for problems caused by injury, disease or disability, and rely on the patient being involved in their own recovery through repeating exercises and using assistive devices as necessary.
Holistic assessments allow the practitioner to tailor a treatment program specific to the patient’s problem and to achieve this our practitioner Mike uses various techniques such as manipulation, acupuncture, soft tissue and strength and conditioning techniques, all aiming to help reduce pain and restore normal movement.
Mike specialises in sports injuries and musculoskeletal conditions, and also offers sports massage therapy.
Eve has a particular interest in physiotherapy for women’s health, and often treats pre and post natal women to help with comfort and pain before and after child birth.
