Homeopathy

Homeopathy is a holistic treatment that looks at the whole person as an individual. Time is taken to listen to find out the way in which symptoms are affecting the individual, as well as a look at their medical history and lifestyle.

Based on the principle of ‘like treats like’ – meaning a substance that can cause symptoms taken in large doses is used in smaller amounts to treat similar symptoms.

This practice has been widely used worldwide for 250 years and the method was discovered in 1796 by a German doctor, Samuel Hahnemann, who was looking for an alternative way to the use of medicines at that time.

Laura Bull is our excellent resident homeopath having graduated from the South East College of Homeopathy in 2004 with a licentiate in homeopathy and has 22 years of international clinical experience.

For 5 years, Laura worked in a world renowned homeopathic pharmacy creating remedies, tinctures and essences. Her work involved acute prescribing and using meditation circles to discover and prove new remedies.
